Just weeks before the U.S. presidential election, TikTok still approved advertisements that contained election disinformation even though it has a ban on political ads.

As a developer I own a lot of domains and have a quite a few app ideas. I've entertained the notion of selling some of my apps, however Zedtopia is not one of those apps.
If I sell Zedtopia, someone will just buy it and add adtech, start stealing everyone's data, and do all this nonsense etc.
Instead, as a cyber democracy, I want something that will last long after I have passed away.
I've been considering, since much of the value of any app comes from the users, and the only monetization we do is via 5% e-commerce fees, we can offer shares to each user as they sign up.
I'm thinking, the first 1 million users to set up an account with a real username and setup Stripe services could be issued stock in Zedtopia.
I'd give away half the stock to the users directly, and either they earn dividends from our ecommerce fees, or they sell the shares to someone else.
You helped make the community, so share in the ownership and benefit.

When companies like google, facebook, tiktok, linkedin, quora, etc sell your data that is commercial use.
Commercial Use: The use of someone’s likeness for commercial purposes without their consent can violate their right to publicity, which is recognized in several states. This means that while taking the photo may not be illegal, using it in an advertisement or for other commercial purposes without the subject’s consent could lead to legal repercussions.

There is currently no enforcement of privacy or data rights law in America because the law enforcement apparatus and spy agencies like having backdoors and the ability to harass every American unlawfully.
They don't care that eavesdropping is a crime because they eavesdrop en masse on the whole population.
Furthermore when it comes to internet privacy, if people can hack and intercept your network traffic even for videogames and block specific access or packets, then any financial, banking, or trading systems are also vulnerable.
You can't trade or do anything with fintech in America because we dont have any internet privacy or security.

On its 10th anniversary, Signal’s president wants to remind you that the world’s most secure communications platform is a nonprofit. It’s free. It doesn’t track you or serve you ads. It pays its engineers very well. And it’s a go-to app for hundreds of millions of people.

If you are worried about dhs persecuting you for exercising your first amendment right to speaking out against violators of international law as well as domestic Leahy law: until authoritarian abuses are checked and balanced, I strongly recommend you use dual layer vpn encryption when uploading, communicating, or organizing.
I highly recommend Signal and perhaps I can eventually integrate deeper Signal support on the platform. (We already let you put Signal usernames in the contact section or images with QR codes in the bio section.)
While many platforms block VPN use and incorporate spyware, this platform incorporates VPN support and blocks spyware.
Stay safe.
