our current society is extremely phone dependent: everything is built with the assumption that everyone has to have a cell phone - you can't even login to anything without a cellphone.

dear sony add your 3d and lidar sensors to your xperia 5 IV so I can buy that as my new phone instead of a garbage iphone with no ports,

I would buy an xperia 5 over an iphone because it has a headphone jack and microsd card plus all the other premiums, add the sony lidar sensor that's been rumored to be on the iphone 15 to the xperia so I can 3d scan,
I make 3d models and i cannot use an apple device to do any 3d modeling, so having a flagship sony phone with everything the xperia 5 iv has plus the new lidar will be perfect,
the xperia 5 v could be perfection if it has everything the old one has plus the new 3d sensor or a built in 3d scanner like the older xz models,
for the ignorant: you can't take a roadtrip somewhere without service in an old car if you have an apple phone or one of these idiotically designed samsungs that copy apple's deletion of features.
even if my phone loses service the music collections and video footage I can save on an SD card are extremely useful, especially for journalists and media professionals... the song never stops playing if it's loading from an sd card on my phone. I don't have to worry about bluetooth not working or having to change the whole car's media and electrical systems just to add bluetooth support.
Plus streaming has ads and i like roadtrips without ads.
