Every event that has taken place in this universe has led you to this moment.

Every star exploding, every planet colliding, every molecule combining, every quantum occurrence, every life that arises, every adaptation, every evolution of every species, every birth, every death, every thought, every realization, and every action taken by anyone who has ever lived...

The real question is,

What will you do with this moment?

Zedtopia still works even on lockdown mode: although google fonts & editor glyphs are blocked the fallback fonts show up crisp and OG ninja wizard mode with hightlighting & code editing works perfectly. power users & journalists rejoice!

Forensic Methodology Report: How to catch NSO Group’s Pegasus

NSO Group claims that its Pegasus spyware is only used to “investigate terrorism and crime” and “leaves no traces whatsoever”. This Forensic Methodology Report shows that neither of these statements are true. This report accompanies the release of the Pegasus Project, a collaborative investigation that involves more than 80 journalists from 17 media organizations in 10 countries coordinated by Forbidden Stories with technical support of Amnesty International’s Security Lab. Amnesty International’s Security Lab has performed in-depth forensic analysis of numerous mobile devices from human rights defenders (HRDs) and journalists around the world. This research has uncovered widespread, persistent and ongoing unlawful surveillance and human rights abuses perpetrated using NSO Group’s Pegasus spyware.

I updated the population counter code to only count people who have created a profile. While we have about 3400 users, only 68 people actually made a profile and chose a username. I'd rather have honest accurate metrics.

I can't leetcode but I built Zedtopia. I spent my time learning practical coding instead of leetcode... 🤷‍♂️ now i'm wondering if learning to code was a waste of time...

The "White Rose" movement was founded in June 1942 by Hans Scholl, Sophie Scholl, and Christoph Probst... Very few groups openly protested the Nazi genocide against Jews like they did. They were executed by Nazis for distributing leaflets.

The American Dream has *never* existed for people of color. In fact, the American Dream has always been at the expense of people of color in a permanent underclass, whether from colonialism or globalism.

Your Right to Mental Privacy in the age of Brain Sensing Technology. They used this tech to eavesdrop on what I was thinking while at the deli looking at the ice cream freezer! Thank god I know occlumency. Still. We have no privacy.

Nita Farahany: Your right to mental privacy in the age of brain-sensing tech

Neurotechnology, or devices that let you track your own brain activity, could help you deeply understand your health. But without privacy protections, your innermost thoughts, emotions and desires could be at risk of exploitation, says neurotech and AI ethicist Nita Farahany. She details some of the field's promising potential uses -- like tracking and treating diseases from depression to epilepsy -- and shares concerns about who collects our brain data and how they plan to use it, ultimately calling for the legal recognition of "cognitive liberty" as we connect our brains and minds to technology.
