Join the wall of shame.
Capitalism cant solve the climate crisis (aleady explained by TIME magazine) and neither will it ever give you a good life. Capitalism has objectively lowered our working standard of living to worse than peasants, and cannot take credit for inventions or engineering advances. In fact, capitalism is why slaves had their inventions and the fruit of their labor stolen from them.

The FBI itself was racist and organized against civil rights leaders like MLK Jr & Malcom X
COINTELPRO is just one of many instances that comes to mind.
They illegally and unconstitutionally surveilled Harry Belafonte and Aretha Franklin for years.
They organized mass surveillance in the post 9/11 NDAA & Patriot Act laws which are all unconstitutional..
The same forces that organized COINTELPRO are those that have later sought to maintain their hold on law enforcement, judicial appointments, etc.
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/fbi-white-supremacists-in-law-enforcement -- This isnt new but rather a reframing to make it seem like law enforcement wasnt always white supremacist despite the very racist history of this country.
The whole country is corrupt and unjust.
Most estimates say that unemployment will have to reach as high as 7.5% to get inflation down to the Fed’s target of 2%.
HTTPS://TIME.COM/6253699/FEDERAL-RESERVE-INFLATION-INTEREST-RATES-WORKERS/Tags: the idiots in charge really think we have no memory
The inflation is because of greed. "greedflation" is citable and broken down by many an expert. (start here: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/greedflation-caused-more-half-last-100000899.html/)
The need for workers to regain parity with their purchasing power pre inflation needs to proceed unencumbered.
Finally landlords are bamboozling America. It should be illegal to increase rent without making material improvements to the property. Houses should depreciate like cars. How can the building and pipes you built 100 years ago increase in value while the building is not maintained and the pipes burst in the wall?
The value of the lot can't increase much anymore because the land is only zoned for so much and the people can only afford so much, if the zoning changes then the lot might be worth more, otherwise there isn't any reason to increase the value. The building on the lot is depreciating since the day it's built because it deteriorates just like any other physical matter.
Why are landlords trying to exploit housing as a profit center? Nearly half of greedflation comes from rent increase: since 2009 the avg income went up ~50% but the avg cost of housing went up ~80%. Americans lost 30% buying power on their largest bill, housing.
We need to stop corporate ownership of residentially zoned property.
Without any corporate luxury rental landlord bs, the market could correct to selling homes that people actually need. Like starter and mid size homes at affordable mortgage rates that can break the lock-in we see right now.
Reducing access to capital only makes it harder for have nots and benefits the haves.
So "cooling the labor market" by cutting access to capital was designed to benefit the haves at the expense of the have nots.
This is because the system was originally designed by slaveowners (haves) to exploit slaves (have nots) and people devalued labor as it was seen as something to take for free from a slave.
Mind you, resources are devalued in non-white countries by the european powers and companies that seek them as well, so for example, raw minerals and diamonds etc are purchased for pennies on the dollar, then sold for maximum price.
Racism was instituted and it blocked people of color from having access to markets. This creates more opportunity for exploitation by haves of the have nots.
The universe already explains how we should approach society:
Heat or warmth disperses to achieve equilibrium,
Similarly so, we should not seek to trickle down but rather disperse money to people equally.
I suggest that in an actually universal, basic income, we issue money to people instead of banks, and the money would be spent at businesses that provide basic necessities at the highest value per dollar.
In this way we achieve a higher velocity of money and the federal reserve still has monetary policy control over the number of bills in circulation.
Finally, a note on heat and perhaps another reason to share the wealth:
There is no such thing as cold -- only an absence of heat.
There is no such thing as hate -- only an absence of love.
If we continue to see the private sector as our savior from climate catastrophe, we'll continue to fail.

from https://seths.blog/2024/09/the-conspiracy-of-mediocrity/
The conspiracy of mediocrity
Solo mediocrity is rampant, of course. We know that toasting the bread before making the sandwich makes it more delicious, but in service of convenience and speed, we skip a step.
It becomes a conspiracy when more than one of us is involved.
The freelancer who offers cheap and ordinary work finds customers who willingly engage with them.
The small company that gets worn down by the constant pressure to simply do a bit less and care a bit less, and decides to follow the mass market where it seems to want to go.
The thing about these conspiracies, though, is that many people have to go along for them to work.
In a big car company, it might take the agreement of 30 or 50 people before the new line gets to be a bit less magical. If just one or two folks stood up and said, “not on my watch,” the conspiracy wouldn’t work.
Like most conspiracies, this one isn’t a secret, nor is it well organized. It’s simply the result of short-term market pressures pushing individuals who used to care a lot to care a bit less.

One of Benjamin Franklin's most famous quotes is: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
This reflects Franklin's belief in the importance of individual rights and privacy. He understood that sacrificing personal freedoms for the sake of security would lead to a loss of both liberty and safety in the long run. Franklin's views emphasize that privacy is a fundamental aspect of freedom and that individuals must always protect their rights from being infringed upon by government or other people.
In essence, Franklin's perspective on privacy underscores the idea that it is essential for maintaining personal autonomy and a free society.

A class of quantum neural networks is presented that outperforms comparable classical feedforward networks. They achieve a higher capacity in terms of effective dimension and at the same time train faster, suggesting a quantum advantage.

Qisket was used implement a QC that could successfully navigate a maze in 2022 --
...the goal is to develop a quantum algorithm robot to solve the maze using tree diagram maze. A tree diagram maze has 2n possible paths, and the task is to find the shortest path among the paths. The quantum algorithm uses ratio-based as the approach in solving the maze. Qiskit from IBM has been used as the library where quantum algorithm is developed to solve the maze by executing the quantum circuit built from quantum gates. Two quantum algorithms have been developed and tested. The shortest path accuracy for the two quantum algorithms was averaging at 78% and 84%, respectively. Both quantum algorithms won over their corresponding classical opponents with the same approach.
In her first media interview as the Democratic presidential candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris stretched the facts on her past stance on fracking and the number of clean energy jobs created by recent legislation.
HTTPS://WWW.FACTCHECK.ORG/2024/08/FACTCHECKING-HARRIS-CNN-INTERVIEW/As a fellow presidential candidate it astounds me that we can't get a policy page on her website, and that she can't pass a fact check.
The level of scrutiny I'm held at and the fact that my platform is much more thorough, and I'd even dare to say, more equitable and inclusive, yet she's given a free pass on genocide, the willow project, and stretching all kind of facts, while already being a VP in elected office, is insane.
Maybe I shoud've never tried politics, I'm too honest and factual, and I don't suffer fools.
I guess I don't belong...
Yet if honesty, rationality, wisdom, and factual knowledge are eschewed in leadership, what are we left with?

disk fragmentation is like entropy, adding disorder, and defragmentation is like adding order.
a better irl example of order and disorder is our apartment inevitably gets messy as we live in it but we can also take and implement actions to clean up that add order and reverse the entropy.
Cleaning up takes energy but it's doable. The same applies for disk defragmentation. It takes energy but it's doable.
spacetime is the disk and wormholes are 2 file sectors that point to eachother.

Awareness of when a paper can’t be trusted is often too low — but adopting some easy-to-use technological solutions can help researchers, publishers and referees to clean things up.
HTTPS://WWW.NATURE.COM/ARTICLES/D41586-024-02747-1Tags: if you dont replicate results you're not a scientist you're a sycophant
There are no technology solutions needed.
This is NOT a technology problem. This is a QA (Quality Assurance) problem.
Scientists need to do their due diligence and fact check a paper by replicating it's results.
Otherwise you end up with things like pseudoscience and room temp superconductors that aren't really, social darwinism, and other awful ideas that can literally harm peoples' lives.
Degrees don't mean anything. The room temp superconductor paper was written by a phD.
Publications don't mean anything. Just because it's published now doesn't mean it won't be retracted several months later.
Replication of results by multiple parties is the only guarantee there might be some truth in a paper and even those can be faked or colluded, so we need impartiality at journals and in the review process to ensure no shenanigans or finagling of data occurs.
It's absolutely imperative that scientists and journals actually do the work of verification and replication of results BEFORE publication.
Despite efforts to remove overt racial prejudice, language models using artificial intelligence still show covert racism against speakers of African American English that is triggered by features of the dialect.

Defining existence and the state of being "real" are important.
I think the best question to ask to guide discussion is:
How does a complex imaginary "possibility" become a mathmatically "real" object?
Finally regardless of the wave function, the decision point is at the crux of collapse. Like I've written before: Penrose is the closest to getting it. 🙏🏽😉
